Estimates
Estimates are free and provided in writing. Unless stated otherwise, an estimate is valid for 30 days and reflects the conditions observed at the time of inspection. If concealed conditions are discovered once work begins, we will stop, explain the finding, and obtain your approval before proceeding with additional work.
Scheduling and access
Appointments are scheduled in arrival windows. Safe access to the chimney, roof, and work area is required. Weather may delay masonry, crown, and waterproofing work; we will reschedule promptly and at no penalty to you.
Workmanship guarantee
Our labor is guaranteed against defects in workmanship. Manufactured components such as caps, dampers, and liners carry their manufacturer's warranty. The guarantee does not cover damage from misuse, improper burning practices, storms, seismic events, or work performed by others after our service.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion unless other arrangements are agreed in writing. Larger projects such as rebuilds may require a deposit for materials, which will be stated in your written estimate.
Safety recommendations
We report conditions we observe and recommend repairs based on professional judgment. Deferring a recommended safety repair is your decision; we are not responsible for damage or loss resulting from repairs we recommended that were declined.
